The opening
The enclosure had to follow the changing ceiling line, provide a practical door and keep the lower level bright. Every fixed panel and junction depended on the exact site geometry.

An under-stair opening engineered to fit.
A sloped ceiling and asymmetrical under-stair condition called for a partition shaped around the house, not adapted from a standard rectangular system.

The Meister approach
Meister divided the opening into a central door, fixed sidelights and upper glass panels, then carried the frame into the angled section beneath the stairs. Clear glass keeps the room connected to the surrounding space.
The finished space
The irregular opening becomes a deliberate feature. The finished enclosure contains the gym while preserving light and making the difficult geometry feel composed.
